In June, I tried purchasing a 2001 Volvo S80 from this dealership and gave $500 downpayment. Few days later, the car developed acute transmission problems and at the same time, the loan comapany denied my loan. I returned the car.
Management agreed to give me my downpayment the next day. It was not till almost 40 days later that they gave me $400.00. They retained $100.00 by saying that the Arizona department of motor vehicles kept that money for the 2 3-day temporary plate permits they gave me. Those p[ermits cost $1.00 each. I was so broke that I was happy to get the $400.00 back. I was bothered daily about that because, I sold cars for many years and never heard of such a charge.
I went to the arizona department of motor vehicles with the volvo's VIN and they checked it. No such money was exchanged between AutoStyles Affordable Luxury and the department.
I have called them repeatedly about refunding that money. They dont want to talk to me or return my calls. Even after I left a message that I will be reporting them to various agencies, they never bothered to call back. They cheated me out of my hard earned $100.00. Now look what I have to do to let others to watch out when doing business with this company.
