December I test drove a GMC Jimmy 4x4 about 70,000 miles, On a friday, they told me to come pick it up on saturday, overnight I changed my mind, I thought I dont have time to do this now, I had to drive to Wisconsin for a job for a month.
So I called the dealership that morning and told them, (NO I dont wan't the car) I hadn't signed anything yet. I just wanted my $80.00 Bucks back, and I would be on my way. They said sure no Problem.
So I call my Insurance company in Sodus, And she tells me they are on the other line trying to get my insurance cards faxed to them. This is after I told them I didn't want the car. So I get their, and they talk me in to getting the car, I told them, I need to be on the road, I had a 13 hour drive a head of me.
They assure me they will have me out the door in under an hour, 4 1/2 hours later. I finnaly got out of their, With my super plan plus warrenty, that I told the nasty woman I didn't want at 2500 bucks. I get on the road only to discover the cd player dosent work. Turn around and another hour later, I leave for wisconsin.
I notice a tire rub on the right side but I dismiss it because the tires look new so I think its just that. Well It's been 2 weeks I have heard nothing about my financing, so I call them, they also told me to lie to the bank about features the car dosent have. Which I did not do. I drive to maine in Febuary, I want to get an oil change before I head back to NY.
The mechanic informs me that, my wheel barrings are shot and have never been greesed ever. He tells me, and then shows me, that my tires are so loose, he said (He was amazed that I never flipped the vehicle). I was fuming.
The mechanic tells me not to drive to ny, with the car the way it is. So I take the car to a chevy dealship in maine, they tell me that the upper and lower wheel barrings are shot, I have a pinion seal leak, and there is something wrong with my driver side door. I ask them to fix it and give them my warrenty.
They call Joseph Neri, and joseph neri Tells them I only have a power train warrenty, which is wrong so I call them for 2 days and they would not call me back, I get none of the work done, and I drive to NY like that, The dealership in Maine called me a few days later to see if I made it home ok. That dealship cares about it's customers, they are also the ones that told me that car should have never passed inspection. Just music to my ears.
So On monday morning I go to Joseph Neri's with my mother, my sister, and her boyfriend. We argue with the accountant guy for 1/2 an hour about the warrenty, Finally a service manager hears the argument, comes out says he will change the warrenty to what it is sopost to be and fix the car.
The other guy tried telling me it would be a month before the new warrenty would become effective, and I would have to pay $ 200 deductible to change the warrenty. I was ready to drive the car thru the window. They had the car for 5 days fixing it, 1 extra day because they tried giving it back to me with out a wheel alignment, I said no way, Am I taking it after you do an upper and lower barring change. Do it Or Im not taking it back. I to have negitive equity, on this vehicle and no one wants to take it off my hands,
OH ya I forgot 1 year after I bought it the transmission went, 100 miles after the warrenty was up, and a week after they had changed the oil for me, kinda fishy ha. Come to find out that jimmy already had a redone trainy it, and who ever did the job, Locktited all the bolts on it so it was a pain in the butt to get it out.
I will never ever deal with them again. Sold me a car that didn"t even pass inspection. Im very lucky i didn"t flip that suv.
