It is amazing to me that the successors to the Les Schwab company would sacrifice everything the company was built on in policies that Les would have never considered... I have been a life-long customer and they seriously used to be the best place around... Now I must say Don't Go There! Take your business elsewhere. After 3 times of getting ripped off personally and my sone getting lied to and ripped off twice, I have had enough.
This final visit was a test (since I was suspicious already). I took a flat that had a simple nail in it into the shop. (BTW they don't come running out like they used to either:{) All was fine with the tire, just a simple removal and patch application and I would have been on my way. The guy who took it was nice enough..."we'll get that fixed up for you!" (part of the deception) Sure enough when we went back to pick it up it was as expected..."Oh there was a big problem and we couldn't patch it, you'll have to buy a new tire"
Basically, after the run-around I had had the previous time I was ready to take my tire and leave which is what I did. (twice I had fallen for their new tire needed scheme) I went to their competitor who for a nominal fee fixed the flat with a patch and I have my spare back in my vehicle now.
Shame on you Les Schwab Co... I hope you get less and less business as people learn things have drastically changed for the worse...
