Doesn't stand behind product, no customer service, bad maintenance practices

I own a 1999 Ford Mustand which I brought to Harper Ford under warranty for a variety of reasons, including a strange squeek in the dask, noisy brakes and poor engine performance.

After making me rent a car since they needed to keep it all night, they informed me the next day that all they had done was turn the rotor surface of my brakes to remove a thin amount of rust build up. They stated the engine was fine and couldn't hear any squeeks.

Well, first off you would expect to find a thin layer of rust on most rotors, you don't turn them to get rid of that. Secondly, if you do turn them, DONT'T WARP THEM. Of course though, they did... So much so that they had to be replaced. But not by Harper Ford.

They told me that it had been too long since the re-surfacing and that there was nothing they could do.in fact it was within a few weeks. Furthermore, the squeek is so loud it could awaken dead people so how they always managed to miss it is beyond me. And the engine has continually gone down in it's level of performance, at times feeling as though it might stall when at a stop... Just as it was doing when I took it in.

And now to my favorite, at 38,000 miles I noticed a large bubble on my driver side door had formed in the clear coat. I called Harper Ford again and asked them if they would work with me since clear coat shouldn't do that on such a new vehicle. They said there would be no arrangements and any charges would be my own due to being 2k over warranty.

When I asked him if this was conscidered a typical event he said no, but that it could have been caused by bird droppings. Bird Droppings?! What a joke! How could a bird crap on the lower portion of my door unless it was coming in a mach 3 and then banked 100 degrees followed by a released at the last minute... A brave sparrow indeed. And then we would have to assume I would leave it there for weeks or months.in fact I wash it weekly.

Harper Ford not only didn't show any willingness to help me, they also cost me work/money and acted as though I was an idiot. Harper Ford Sucks! They are the only Ford dealer in Eureka so they feel they can get away with this. Anybody in the area should take the time to drive the 2 hours plus needed to find another dealer. You listening Harper?
