I bought a new car from this dealership in May with 3 year dealer provided warranty and 3 years paid extended warranty. There were several problems which I had to bring the car to the dealership to fix. They only provide rental replacement once and started denying that ever since.
In March there was a transmission problem with the car, which had happened before. I took the car to the dealership, they again denied the rental replacement. Then they told me that the transmission part was bit by some animal which is not covered by the warranty. I asked them how things like that could happen and they told me it is normal during that season. They also said the protection provided by Ford to the transmission part is better than other makes.
But the fact is, there are more than 30 cars parking in the lot of my apartment, no one else ever ran into things like that. The only thing I heard that happened in the same community is from another family who purchased the same type of car from exactly the same dealership, and they were given exactly the same excuse. There are cars of many different makes which Ford dealership claims to have worse protection on the same parking lot as my car. But none of those cars have ever had the same issue, never. That makes me quite doubtful of the excuses.
