Ripoff deception and thieves

On August 13 we purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealer. Before we signed any papers we noticed that the front grill was missing the clips to hold it in place and that the front headlight was out. We were told by the owner Mike that they treated their customers right and did everything in their power to make them happy, he promised that he did not cut corners and that if there was a problem with the vehicle they did everything they could to fix it.

We then paid 1500.00 down payment and financed 10,015.00 this included a after market warranty through Wynn's Warranty company which they stated at the time was mandatory for the credit company to finance us. This was a lie it was optional.

Wynn s would pick up the warranty 90 days after we purchased the warranty and M&M would offer a 90 day warranty to cover anything else that went wrong. 12 hours after we purchased the vehicle the ABS system light came on. I called M&M to inform them of this problem. They told us that they would have it checked out. Two weeks later after several visits to the dealership and several call we finally received a replacement bulb for the headlight.

One month after several more calls and visits and getting into an arguments with the sales man who told us that we were only 3% of their business calling me a bad mom and saying we intentionally drove this vehicle off the lot knowing that it had problems with the brakes which was a lie. Mike finally agreed to have the vehicle checked out at the Jeep dealership.

The cost for repairing the front grill 460.00 refused by Mike he did not want to pay for it the ABS was checked but needed further checking to determine the problem. It was never addressed again. Two weeks after this Mike had us bring the Jeep to his body shop guy. They fixed it with plastic rivets and aluminum foil to hold the light assembles in place.

64 days after purchase the vehicle engine blew up, M&M had it towed to their dealership and transferred it to, without our consent, their mechanic. We decided if this mechanic was anything like the body shop that it would be bubble gummed together.

We decided right away to transfer it to a different mechanic When Mike was informed of this decision he did everything in his power to keep us from transferring it telling us that the other mechanic shop didn't know what to tell the warranty company and if that you did not lie to them that they would not fix the problem. He even went so far as to say that his mechanic had already torn the engine apart; this of course was also a lie.

When we went down to pick up the vehicle because they would not release it to the towing company we sent. We had to call M&M for directions to the shop the salesman either chose not to tell us where the vehicle was located or did not know; we finally had to get Mike to give us directions to the shop.

When we arrived by landmarks there was no name on the business, no address, and looked like a junk yard.inside the office there was no one to greet us and took us half an hour to find someone. The office was disgusting, it was dirtier inside than outside there were two old couches that looked as if they had just come from the dump, someone had been sleeping on one of them there was a dirty pillow and old sleeping bag left on it.

You could see a kitchen through the door and it was filthy food and containers left everywhere. When we went out to the Jeep it looked as if it had not been touched and in no way had been torn apart. We then had it removed and taken to a different shop.

After we transferred it to the other shop we then proceeded to deal with the warranty company. We knew that there was no compression in the piston chambers Wynn's still insisted that we diagnosis the problem 455.00 later they denied our claim even though there warranty stated that they fix the problem that we had.

I was advised by the Credit Company to ask M&M auto to void our contract and report to the attorney Generals office. We sent a certified letter to M&M requesting this action they ignored us. Monday Jan 13 we sent all of our paperwork to the Attorney Generals office.
The credit company has now threatened to garnish our wages for this vehicle.

We have spent over five thousand dollars in the last three month with this vehicle including a rental car, down payment, payments, diagnosing fees, lost days of work, tags, insurance& mailings. We can not afford anymore. We want M&M to do what is right and void our contract and return our money!

I have also filed a report here on usacomplaints.com on Wynn's Warranty Company
