On august 13th We purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from M&M Auto, Hattiesburg, MS for $10,150.00 cost of the warranty $1015.00 We were told that we were required by the credit company Credit Acceptance to purchase an extended warranty. That was a lie it was optional! The extended warranty is through Wynn's. They sent us their product (fluids for the vehicle. Oil, gas treatment, ect) and promised that if we would put this product in our vehicle that we would not have any problems. 64 days after purchase the engine blew up!

I had to pay for the towing $35.00. When the mechanic shop tested the vehicle there was little or no compression in the piston chambers - meaning there was piston problems. Does Wynn's cover this? They say they do. But they insisted that the problem be diagnosed. Cost 400.00 out of my pocket. Sure enough hole in piston #1 Piston # 2 buried in the wall of the engine, Piston # 3 buried in the wall of the engine. Wynn's warranty states that we are responsible for diagnosing the problem to the point of knowing what the problem is.
Did it stop here NO! They required us to further diagnosis the problem, they insisted that we pull the oil pan the cost 55.00. We fought this I had several recommendations of mechanics telling us that if we pulled the oil pan that Wynn's would find some way to not pay for it! This went on 1 month we finally agreed to pull the oil pan, Did Wynn's pay NO!!! After the adjuster was sent out and said that Wynn's should pay they decided not to! Off the record that they were upset that we had contacted a Lawyer Did they finally pay? NO!!!

They said it was lubrication due to non detonation! Layman's terms no oil in the vehicle. Funny that Wynn's product was in the oil pan and it was full! Wynn's did not pay they took our money and were rude to everyone who contacted them to the point that the lawyer, the mechanic and I wanted to cuss them out! They drug it out so it cost us more money instead of just telling that they had no intension of paying in the first place. Total cost out of our pocket 455.00 diagnosis 35.00 towing fee 1677.00 rental car. 4 days lost of work 1530.00 down payment 116.00 tag fee 456.00 insurance 11,165.00 owed to credit acceptance for a vehicle I can not drive and can not afford to fix!
Can you afford to make this mistake? Wynn's Warranty is a huge Rip Off! Don't believe me? Go down or call any mechanic shops in your area and see what they have to say! I can obtain several signed reports here in my town alone that Wynn's has done this to! Look at their web site www.wynnsusa.com see what kind of building they have figure out who's paying for it!!! Don't let this happen to you!
Oh and you can't sue them they have an arbitration clause in their contract! Buyer beware!!! Business since 1938 Think of how many people they have done this to!!
