In May I contracted with Pitbull Motorsports and its owners Mike Davis and Mark Evans to build me a custom bike. I provided them with a $15,000 deposit and was told the bike would take approximately 10 weeks to complete. After 4 months and no assurances that the bike had even been started I requested my deposit back, which Pitbull declined to return.
I hired an attorney in my home state of Georgia to negotiate with Pitbull for the return of my money. After not getting any resolution from Davis or Evans we filed suit in GA and won a default judgement for the $15K interest. Upon learning of the default judgement, Davis agreed to return my deposit by April 22. When no money ever appeared I hired an attorney in Orlando who domesticated the default judgement and tried to collect my deposit.
The Orlando attorney had previously been successful collecting a judgement from Pitbull on behalf of another client. However, when we tried to seize Pitbull's bank accounts we learned that they had been closed out. All other attempts to collect my depost and numerous legal fees have failed. Davis continues to run Pitbull Motorcycle Company and currently has a bike for sale on eBay and according to him (via e-mail) he has other bikes in various stages of production and paint.
Mark Evans opened up a new shop called Diablo Chop Shop in Sarasota and continues to build bikes with many members of the old Pitbull crew.
I may never get my money back from these crooks, but I plan to make their lives miserable and not go away quietly. Last I week I filed a formal complaint with the Florida State Attorney General's office and am preparing a complaint for the Federal Trade Commission.
Please do not do business with Pitbull, Mike Davis or Mark Evans, you will be sorry. Type Pitbull in the search section of this website and you will find others who have been ripped of by this crew.
