Advantage Rent-a-Car Incompetence can cost you money!

Incorrect billing ended costing me $300 thanks to Advantage Rent-a-car on Reseda Blv.in Northridge, CA. Being unfortunate to be rearended on the road and needing to take my car to a shop, I rented a car from Advantage Rent-a-car.

Upon returning the vehicle, I was given a receipt for a certain amount. Since the expenses were to be covered by the insurance company of the driver that hit me, I requested an additional receipt and inquired if this was the full amount of my expenses and was told this bill was final, for all charges.

I submitted the bill for payment, received my reimbursment from the insurance company to find out a month later that an additional $300 were charged to my credit card by Advantage, with no notice of any kind, due to incorrect billing.

Having settled my automobile dispute, I was not able to be compensated for this additional charges. I had to take in the additional expense because they were not capable to give me a final bill when I returned the car and misinformed me of what the cost had been.
