I purchase a 2002 kia sportage. I have had nothing but problems since I have owned this vehicle. The transmission make to much clinking sound and I took back and mechanic was agree that it is not a normal sound for him so he called engineer from kia and he took me on test drive and told me it is normal sound so I keep my mouth shut. Later when I send for my state inspection cause it was free inspection life time when I buy kia from gateway kia it took then to do my inspection 6 hours and I found out they don't want me to go there for free things that's why they id that to me, then I took my kia to one more time when I have to do inspection and I am was back there for same and they point out I have a crack in manifold and need to replace for inspection and it is not cover in the warranty so I said to them ok go ahead they told me that other things are very fine only manifold I said ok do the job.
So I went back to home and call Kia to conform that warranty things and they told me it is cover under warranty I do not have to p[ay $495 for that and they told the dealer that too so now dealer call me and told me I have to replace air sensor and it is going to cost me around $200 I ask them before you said to me only one thing is to change now other too you want to Rip of my pocket any way and they do not have any answer to me so I end up with $268. The service manager was total BS she don't know what she is doing Call customers disrespectfully by finger sign.
My advice to you that never go back to same dealer after sales service you can go any where in pa for service maintains it is a Law in pa.
