We had an identity theft problem that we were working to resolve. We were A FEW DAYS late on our car loan payment, and started receiving daily calls threatening to report a delinquent payment on our credit. After the threats, they offered to arrange to have a payment debited from my account on payday, and didn't bother to mention that there was a $10 fee for using the electronic payment service.
They charged my account 3 days before payday, causing an overdraft fee of $30 at my bank... Then charged an additional $10 fee for using their electronic payment service, which caused another overdraft fee of $30 at my bank.
Their web site says that they "Steadfastly adhere to high moral principles and professional standards; always conduct ourselves with respect and honesty", but anyone who has dealt with them knows that this statement is just corporate fluff intended to lure more victims... Errr... Customers.
