We were quoted a certain, firm price for an automobile. The next day, the price increased by over $l, 000 and the car was promised to be at the dealership day after day. When the dealership was told a car would be purchased elsewhere and not from them, the car was promised that day. We were left in the finance office for a great while after sitting there for a great while already while financing was shopped - then they said it could go higher. A lot of pressure was put on to purchase the extened warranty. Basically, a car was promised at a firm price. The car was not delivered when promised at least three times and the price of the car was increased before it hit the showroom. As an added irritant, no one (salesman, manager) seemed to know exactly where the car was or when it would be in for sure, although promises were made. I've since heard that they do not have a good reputation and I can understand why. I assume their business comes from surrounding communities. Surely, people in Jackson know about them. I don't feel that we were an isolated incident - probably just routine practice. They should probably be investigated by someone.
