Car Hop
Acts Like Their GOD Wouldn't show me cars and tell me about year they were manufactured or mileage until after I completed the application process

I had a 2:15 pm appointment with the Blaine location on Friday, August 1st. I have a little credit problem.
I went to a few other used car dealerships that work with people with credit problems prior to my appointment. I did my homework. I had options to weigh, which car, which company, what type of warranty. Being a single Mom, having a warranty was key to me and that is why I thought Car Hop may be my best option due to their 18 month, 18,000 mile "said" warranty.

I arrived early to my appointment so that I could take a look at the vehicles on the lot. I wanted to know what the years they were and what the mileage was on these vehicles prior to discussing financing options.

The representative was very rude, there was another person sitting in his office on the credenza, his door was open for the other person in the office to overhear the potential meeting — very, very unprofessional.

I told the rep that I wanted to know more about the cars available, year manufactured and current mileage before we start the credit process. He told me flat out no, that I would have to fill out a credit application first and then he would tell me about the cars. I asked him, "you mean you are unwilling to show me the cars and tell me what the mileage is". He said, "I don't know the mileage." I responded something like you have to know what the mileage is. He responded again that because I am obviously here because I need help with my credit. Very condescending to me. I then told him, "then I'm not interested, thank you" and walked out.

Just because a person may have credit issues, does not give this establishment the right to treat us like this is our one and only chance and we better count our blessings we're sitting in their sleeze-bag offices.
I think that I will file a Better Business Bureau report on this incident, as I don't think it's legal not to inform people as to the mileage on cars they are trying to sell, no matter what their financial situation is.
I would NOT RECOMMEND this establishment to anyone at any time.
