I found the exact bike I was looking for on the internet at the above dealer. Over the course of about 15 calls over 2 weeks i decided to buy it.
I myself am a mechanic and have been working on powersports equipment my whole life so I know what questions to ask as to the mechanical condition. I covered all the bases:
Has it been layed down?
Answer NO
does it burn or leak oil?
NO
Tires?
1000 miles
clutch slip?
NO
does it shift right?
YES
does everything work lights ect? YES
Brakes?
Just redone $800
This is the exact quote " the bike has no problems it like a new bike".
Now this is just a small part of the questions I asked a number of times but to make a long sad story short. I payed for it had it shipped up here to Mi. And guess what???
The guy that delivered it told me it it has no second gear!!! Sure enough my very 1st ride the bike pops out of 2nd gear as soon as you apply throttle!
So i loaded it right up took it to my local dealer and they told me about $2000 to fix. Now after further inspection I see the bike has been layed down (scratchs all down the exhaust pipes and crash bar) The clutch slips, and the rear brakes that just had $800 put into them are shot!!!
Well to me this bike is far from " no problems its like a new bike"!!!
It is clear I have been defrauded.
Now im going through all the hassel of the BBB complaint, Ga. Consumer Affiars, an the Ga. Attourney generals office complaints.
As the BBB complaint is going on he lieing to the BBB saying the bike was his own personal bike. When it was title since new to someone else. And after I did a little research and I have found that they or he has a history of shady deals.
Needless to say as soon as he got the money he has cut off all contact, will not return calls. So i am forced to do this.
I payed fair market value for a bikethat was represented to be in seviceable cond. This is far from servicable, in fact its useless without 2nd gear.

If anyone knows of a good attourney that like to pick on crooked dealers let me now i got a job for him!!!
