Go to the New car dealer used lots and look at certified used cars. Do the research on the vehicle, ask for a carfax report, talk to your peers before signing any contract. Know your rights! To read and understand everthing on any contract! To a 3rd party review of any major purchase contract before signing. 3 business days by law to cancel any contract. Get a buyers guide from the bank, credit union or Family Service Center before you shop. Take some one you trust with you when making a major contract purchase. Call your parent (s) before signing. Sleep on it. If the deal seems to good to be true, guess what!? It is!!!
I would like to thank the salesman at MOTORSPORTS INC Va Beach Va. For providing my son with a $12000 paperweight. Sold him a 12 year old sporty import, possibly altering his online NFCU application to raise the price from $8500 to $12000. Charged $705 for tax title tags and stole $2795 for a totally worthless warranty from Lifetime Engine Defender (tm) and Warranty Administration Services, (Redding Calif) The dealer took the car for 2 weeks to fix electrical problems. When the rear main seal blew and the engine seized the warranty was denied the claim. "Warranty does not cover seals and gaskets or damage done due to loss of fluids.
W.A. S has a good BBB rating, dont believe it. It only covers internal engine parts! Not "everything under the hood" as stated by the salesmen. The car was purchased in Mar 08, seized in mid Jun I found out last week of Jul 08. The son has to go to Navy Legal next week. If it looks good for a suit I'll be goin to Norfolk from Missouri and then Redding Calif if needed. If it doesnt, You'll find my across the street from Motorsports and/or their affiliates with a sign and a bullhorn. How many lost sales can I cost them before they pay the $5500 to remotor or buy it back for the full $12000.
