I chose to go to Parkway Tinting to get my car windows tinted because they were the cheapest in this area and because they have a lifetime warranty. Well neither of those characteristics helped me out in the end. I guess that saying really is true that "you get what you pay for", the cheapest in town is the poorest in quality, service, and honesty.
So i took my car there 3 hours before i had to be at work because he told me at the most it would take 2 hours. Well i get there a few minutes early thinking he would do the same... Wrong! He was 20 minutes late! So that was quite a delay first off, then when he was about half way through tinting my windows, he told me that he had to leave really quick to take his girlfriend to work and he would be right back.
I was livid because that is so unprofessional and he knew i was on a time schedule plus he had already delayed it almost an hour because he was so late getting there in the first place. Ends up she finds a ride and he continues my tinting. It took him 3 hours and 45 minutes! I was 45 minutes late to work also! Oh but at the most it would be about two hours... Yea right.
So he leaves this one strand on the top of my back windsheild untinted and just told me he couldn't do that part. I was like oh my gosh that looks terrible like that! How rediculous! A couple of days later i noticed bubbles in all my windows' tinting and really big ones on the back windsheild.
Since he offered a lifetime warranty i called him up, told him i wanted the bubbles taken out of the back windsheild and the top strand tinted that he said he couldn't do! I made an appointment with him, showed up on time and he looked at all of it. Then he told me he had to run an errand really quick and asked me if i could come back in an hour in a half. As mad as that made me, i agreed because i really wanted my windows fixed, it was a new car!
I came back an hour and a half later and he wasn't there. I sat there and waited on him for about an hour and tried calling the shop phone and his cell phone. I never got a call back and he never showed up. Then my dad ended up getting a hold of him a couple of weeks later and made an appointment again for me to have it fixed. I showed up to the appointment on time again and he wasn't there again! I waited 30 minutes and tried to call him and left him a message. He never showed, never called back and still hasn't to this day, and needless to say, my windows were never fixed.
I will be paying someone else to fix it and believe me it is worth the extra money to just go somewhere else! I just wanted everyone to know how this guy does business and how he treats customers who pay him! I hope that this will help anyone in the future who is trying to find an honest, reliable, quality business to do your window tinting.
