Our experience is the same as others, this is obviously a well choreographed scam.in spite of initial demonstration of insurance coverage, in early a collateral policy was put in place and added to monthly charges. Personal visits to the bank, faxes, phone calls and mailed correspondance from the insurance company and local agent were ineffective in stopping the charges for months.
In March the process started over again. Wells Fargo demanded to know if we had insurance, i faxed the policy to them at 866-595-1275 and they still added their bogus insurance (Balboa Insurance) to the payment. They then take the insurance payment from the car payment which in turn makes it look like we only made a partial payment thus triggering late fees. This has got to be illegal.
