Neglicient Mechanic Work - Lies and Deceitful Practices

Sewell Saab and Hummer, Plano, TX has permanently damaged my car and has NOT taken any responsibility. I am filing this report after much frustruation and mental aggravation in dealing with Nick Vanderpool, General Manager. This corporation generates millions of dollars and they will NOT assume the outstanding debt for my car as a means of resolving our dispute. The employees have lied and performed shoddy mechanic work, which has resulted in a car with permanent engine damage. I mean how many times in a car's history should a Head Gasket have to be replaced??? In my case TWICE! Not to mention two Valve Cover replacements as well as Thermostat, steering pump, vacuum and the list goes on and on. Let's not forget to mention, the mechanic forgot to put oil or coolant, depending on who you talk to, back in my engine after the Head Gasket work, that caused my engine to seize on the highway. What is really sad about this story, aside from the fact I haven't had my car since 6/12/08 is that my car only has 55,000 miles.in one of my conversations with Mr. Vanderpool, he told me that their dealership has made money on my car and therefore, would like to keep me as a customer. What kind of remark is that??? Especially to a customer who is on the brink of despair and who has paid thousands of dollars out of her own pocket for shoddy repairs! Clearly, there are deceitful practices going on and I am one of their victims! Don't let me forget that Nick offered to work with me on BUYING a car from them and of course, I'd have to eat the difference in the trade-in value, which of course would mean MORE MONEY to the dealership! I told him that prior to the damage done to my car by Sewell, I was not on my way to trading in this car and it is only a result of their negligience that I'm without a car now!

The President of Sewell Automotive Company, Carl Sewell wrote a book called "Customers For Life", and in the book it outlines principles and values to use in order to keep customers.in one of the examples, Mr. Sewell gave a women a brand new Cadillac because birds crapped in her back seat! If Sewell was able to give someone a brand new Cadillac because birds crapped in her car to resolve the dispute, then why can't they assume a much smaller debt to resolve mine?

If anyone reads and is considering bringing their Saab or Hummer to the Sewell Saab and Hummer in Plano... DONT do it!!
