Earlier this year I was looking to buy a vehicle from G & B Auto sales in West Allis, first it took them forever to get me financing and I had to come to the dealer ship at least 10 times because they never had the paper work ready. Kevin Klemz and Mike Klemz are the owners of this business. Because I do not have perfect credit I did have to settle for a higher interest rate, so I signed all the papers and thought I was finished, that was until I got a call from Kevin Klemz stating that he had an extra set of keys and I should come in immediately to pick them up. It seemed kind of strange that he was in a hurry for me to come and get them, however I went anyway. When I got there he said that the financing did not go through at the rate that I signed and that the rate would be slightly higher and i would have to sign new papers, and that it was... It was almost 5% higher, I told Kevin that I was not going to be able to sign that with the higher interest rate. He said well how about I refund you the difference of the (2) interest rates. I thought about it, and decided yes I would do that, the difference was roughly $2,200. He said he would not be able to give me the money now, however when the financing went through he had no problem cutting me a check. I asked him if I could get something in writing, he wrote on the back of a business card stating that once finacing went through he would refund me $2,200. And signed it. So a couple of weeks go by and I get a letter from CHASE auto financing stating that my loan has been approved. I called G&B auto sales and spoke with Kevin he said that I should give him until that Thursday and come in and he would write me a check so I come in on Thursday and he looks surprised to see me, and starts talking to me like he doesn't know me, so i refreshed his memory and he was like OOO I didn't think you were going to be in until Friday, and I said no you said today, and he said that the money hasn't been put into this account yet, and he doesn't have that kind of money just lying around... He said for sure on friday and then he even stated that he would personally come and drop off the money at my job, so i gave him directions to my job and he said before noon on Friday, well friday rolls around and I gave G&B auto sales a call to see when he was coming, well his father MIKE KLEMZ answers the phone and says that kevin will not be in until saturday morning at this point I am ready to loose it and explain the situation to his father, Mike Klemz states that he knows nothing about this and will try and get in touch with Kevin, so we hang up, no more than 2 mins pass and I get a call on my cell phone from Mike Klemz, he tells me, "Why don't you bring the car back in and we'll undo this whole thing" I was so mad I said FINE and we hung up. Now keep in mind I was only 21 at the time so I called my mother very upset and told her what just had happened, and she said first, you own that car now, so the can't do anything about, but she told me to give her Mike Klemz # and she called him. Mike Klemz told her that he was unaware that Kevin had made this deal with me and also told her that they are a small dealership and cannot afford to pay me that kind of money. But he said that if we both come back in that he would help me get a lower interest rate. Well my mother told him that she was going to get in contact with her lawyer and call him back. Well we never did... Because my lawyer took the case and sent them a letter stating that they had 10 days to come up with the money or further action will be taken. They never paid, so I filed a small claims report and I went to court on the court date, and they never showed up. So now I have a judgement in my favor, which doesn't look like I will ever receive my money, I am planning on going to see if I can put a lein on their property or cars, it has been one nightmare that I hope I never have to go through again, I hope anyone who reads this does not buy a car from this dealership. And the people who do I feel really sorry for you. Believe me this is not the only complaint about this company, go and check out the BBB and see how many complaints they have or go search the free wisconsin court records and see how many cases there on on G & B Auto sales, Kevin Klemz, and Mike Klemz.
