Purchased a set of Mercedes replica wheels from them 5/27/08 using the Buy It Now price of $419 plus $89 shipping for a total of $508. Wheels were listed as fitting my model car. Their eBay setup wouldn't take credit card payment except by phone. Their phone rep advised that additional hardware was needed for my car and I was therefore invoiced $606.60 to my credit card for wheels and special lugbolts. What arrived were wheels, lugbolts, and SURPRISE - wheel locks. This was an obvious trick to get the consumer to spend additional money for an item; rep admitted that listing was intentionally incomplete/inaccurate and that without additional hardware the wheels would not fit ANY car. Locks were certainly not necessary but rep required them as a condition of sale. Wheels arrived to my home and one was different design from the other 3. I therefore requested a return authorization and replacement for the 1 wheel, and rep faxed to me the UPS return goods shipping label, and I instructed him to schedule a UPS pickup for the following day. But rep never contacted UPS for pickup and UPS will not initiate a pickup from anyone other than the firm who furnished the return goods shippng label. So wheel sat on my front porch for 3 days, at which time I called company and was rudely told that the problem was mine and that I needed to drive to a UPS Store to drop off the item. I requested that company ship out the replacement wheel upon UPS drop-off but was told they will not do this until wheel is actually received by company. When company received wheel back 5 days later they denied receipt of it until I provided them with online UPS signature proof of delivery. They said they would ship out the replacement the next day but didn't. I called them 5 days later and they said it was shipped but they refused to supply tracking number. Replacement wheel arrived; it whad been thrown into a used box with the protective packing material obviously removed from the wheel and stuffed into the corner of the box, so wheel arrived with surface damage and has to be refinished on its face. I have filed a complaint with my credit card issuer. Horrible experience.
