I purchased 4 tires and wheels from the company on September 27 for the agreed upon price of $2600.00 the purchase was charged to my mastercard an invoice was sent to my e-mail account and I accessed their website and entered the agreed upon informaiton to complete the authorization to charge my credit card. Once the tire and wheels arrived a defect was noticed in one of the wheels, picture were taken and sent to Pat Pippin my sales contact from the orignal purchase.
I was informed that a fifth wheel would be sent to me for a replacement on the damaged wheel. Once the damaged wheel had been replaced by the fifth (replacement wheel) I was to send the defective wheel back to the company. There was never any discussion of any charges to my credit card ever. I had already bought and paid in full for my agreed upon purchase. This was simply a warranty, replacement wheel that was to be sent out to me with a shipping labl to return the defective wheel. No expenses on my part should have occurred. Within days I received another invoice on my e-mail account for payment of both the purchase of the replacement wheel as well as shipping charges. I never accessed the website as instructed in the e-mail nor did I ever authorize any charges to my credit card. The company in my complaint sent out the replacement wheel without a shipping label to return the damaged wheel as well as made an unauthorized charge to my credit card in the amount of $323.75 on Nov 13. I immediatly contacted the company and complained of this procedure when the charged occured on my credit card. Pat Pippin argued that there was no other way to process the order for the replacement wheel except to charge my credit card even without my authrization. He ensured me that once the wheel arrived and the defective wheel was returned that a credit would be made to the credit card immediatly. When the wheel arrived it also was damaged and did not meet my satisfaction, as well there was no shipping label to return it with. I called the company and asked to speak with the owner as I was trying to explain my situation with his company to him he informed me that he was in an important meeting and he would transfer me to someone else that should be able to help me. I then spoke with a lady be the name of Dedra who took down all of the information I shared with you above on November 26 Dedra was shocked to learn that they had not waited for me to authorize the $323.75 charge to my credit card before placing that charge on my account she also apologized for the companies oversight on not providing me with a shipping label to return the fifth wheel.in an effort to compensate me for such a poor customer service experience I had with the company Dedra and I agreed to the following terms. She would send me a check for $482.50 that would cover both the $323.75 charge to my credit card that my wife and I had already paid to avoid finance charges on as well as return 50% of the purchase price on the defective wheel that I had received from the orignal purchase made in September.in exchange for that I agreed to keep the damaged wheel from the orignal order. Along with the check for $482.50 she was also to send me a return shipping label so that I could return the replacment wheel that had arrived that was not satisfactory either. Neither a shipping label or a check has arrived at this time. I spoke briefly with Dedra last December 4 asking why nothing we had agreed to had been carried out and she was unable to answer she was under the impression that I should have already received the check and the shipping label. Dedra said she would check into it and call me right back I have been waiting 6 days and both my wife and I have left numerous messages with both Dedra and the owner of the company Tom and neither had bothered to call us back. I filed a complaint with the BBC and the company refused to respond to them as well. Sorry it took so long to post but just came across this great web site. Hope this saves someone else from buying from rip off websites.
