We were also victimized by Hartford Auto Club/Roan Communications. They deducted $99 from our account even though the paperwork they sent to us was returned undeliverable. We never gave them our account information, so we have no idea how they got it.
Since the initial conversation was with my husband they refused to speak to me. When I spoke to a supervisor she hung up on me.
Now they are telling us we can call in a week to verify that they have processed our refund and that once it is processed it will take 30 days to receive it.
Anyone that has been victimized by these companies please call [Temporarily deleted MSP-RoR]. He is a lawyer trying to get evidence to prosecute these companies so they can't victimize anyone else.
