I called Break Masters on Thomas Road in Phoenix and talked to Chris. He gave me a estimate quote over the phone and I took my van in to have new front brakes. When I got to the shop I told him I left my internet coupons at home and he said not to worry just let him know what they are when he calls me for pick up and he would apply them. Half a day later I got a call that my van would cost 48% more than what the original quote would be. With concern and a half day already shot I said go ahead and do the work. When I asked to apply the coupon upon payment Chris said Actually you are getting a better deal on the quote (so they do not honor their coupons on their website) He then offered to pick my up and bring me back to the shop when the work was done to avoid another $10.00 cab fare. When he called to say the work was done he said O by the way, we do not have anyone to pick you up so you need to pay for a cab back. Well, when I arrived at the shop two employees were in the shop lobby watching T.V. And I was out $20.00 cab fare for the day.
Beware Brake Master Customers, after my experience I found this shop to be switching prices, not honoring promotion coupons which are clearly on their web site and they do not keep their word on offering customers service such as transportation. They said at the end of the day that I had a life time warranty on my brakes, I now wonder if they will ever honor that when I need it?
