I had been to kwik kar at Preston to get help regarding engine light being on in my car. I had the computer scanner code and other details diagnosed (free) at other place.
The guy at kwik kar right away told that this code doesn't mean much and needs a computer diagnosis which will cost $89 and that will tell what exactly the problem is. (Problem and suggested soln I already had with my prior diagnosis), but i was made to believe that the further diagnosis worth $89 is required to get more details.
I agreed and they started diagnosis with same scanner and were able to get same engine codes but they just kept my car for 40-45 min to show that it take that much time and eventually came up with same codes and resolution which i had with not extra piece of information then what i had.
I called next day to talk to owner Lisle Budden and has started talking nicely for a minute and then was just not listening to me but kept on talking in rude manner spitting out Bad words and F* words. And mentioned that he doesnt care and does not want to talk to me further justifying his charges for $89 which was not required but i was just been fooled and give wrong impression of getting detailed diagnosis information. He said he got his money and he is not going to talk to me anymore and even told me not come to this shop anymore.
This was my first and last visit to kwik kar. I strongly recommend everyone to avoid them as they are not to help customers but to make customer spend more money on things which may not be required.
On top of that they behave rude and spit out bad words on hearing customer concerns.
