Well. I jumped their hoops, registered, and after 90 days requested my refund AND provided the required proof I still owned vehicle. My ad was $299 dollars with the promise of a refund minus a $49 ad fee. I received an email stating I would receive my refund shortly and I finally felt at ease. NOT!
My refund came last week for only $99. Not $249 as told by salesperson. When i called customer service (which btw takes 2-3 days for a return call no matter how nice you are for them to call you) the girl said refund office would call me. This refund person said that the costs of my ad had gone up since november and that they were now advertising on many new arena's which benefit me and that the cost of ad had gone up and that is why my refund was now only $99. WHAT?!
So she showed me the disclaimer on the bottom of 90 day guarantee page that says they can alter, change, or terminate this agreement for any reason at any time. This is not a valid guarantee. What kind of crap is this.
We all know they are online selling the same crap daily to people for $49 ad fee. If this has happened to you recently where they tell you ad is $49 still, please let me know. I am still trying to fight with them and get credit card company involved.
Anyone have any other ideas?
