My girlfriend, Lori Richman, of Berlin New Jersey has been in the market for a new car. She wanted to get her payments a little lower and budget things a little better. She met this salesman Mike at her workplace. I apologize, I don't know his last name.
She told him about her situation. He than told her that he is a salesman at "Wholesale Outlet" in Waterford, N.J. And that he had just the vehicle for her and that he could help her out. So, of course, she became very happy and eagerly set up a time to go down and meet with him.
On Thursday, May 1st she went to the lot to meet with him and look at a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer. Due to my job, I was unable to be there with her, but we felt somewhat comfortable with the situation because of their initial meeting and the fact that Mike was a friend of Lori's boss. What a horrible mistake that assumption was!
First, he told her that the truck cost $12,995.00. This was before she arrived there. When she sat down for the negotiations, he told her that he was mistaken. The truck cost $14,400.00. She was a little taken back by that, but she was still interested. She asked questions and thought that she was doing O.K. This jerk off than told her that it only costs $40.00 to fill it up with gas. She thought, O.K. I can do this. This was an outright lie! It's going to cost her double that in gas and the cost is still rising! Well, needless to say, she learned the hard way. She was sick when she realized that she'd been taken for a fool.
Now, I know that the bottom line is: she didn't have to sign for the purchase of the vehicle. Ultimately, she could've walked away. But, this is a typical story of these scumbag salesman taking advantage of people. She went in there sincerely trying to get a vehicle that she liked and to lower her monthly expenses. She trusted him because he supposedly was a friend. Gas, as we all know, is a key factor to what we're all driving now. This overweight, pompous, putz flat out lied to her. This is now going to be a major expense.
The very next morning she tried calling the dealership to explain her regretful situation. She even tried to tell them that she was sorry and that she'd still buy a lesser more gas efficient vehicle from them so that they would still get the sale. Well, the manager, Jordan didn't want to hear it. The salesman, Mike, will no longer return any phone calls.
I just want to know: Do you all feel like real men? Do you sleep good at night? Do you like to make another human being literally sick to her stomach? If you all do, shame on all of you. You'll all get what's coming to you. My advice to anyone else is to stay away from this place. They're all thieves and liars. Customer service and word of mouth still goes along way. Believe me, they haven't heard the last from me.
