I purchased a used vehicle from a dealer who took me for everything I had. The car was a lemon. It broke down after one year, dead engine and it is 91 Geo Prizm. Seawest Financial financed me and now I realized how it is that I got this car on my own with my credit. This company is a totally joke and ripoff.
It all started off babd and I should have investigated it then. I called in June of asking about my first pmnt due. Someone told me I did not have to make a pmnt till Sept. They told me to wait for a statement. So I did.
When I sent my 1st pmnt and got the next statement the amnout never decreased. I called and it took them 3 months to tel me that I shoudl have a pmnt in June and that all the monies I was paying was going towards interest and late fees now. No one would even listen to me about the original call I made in June so I let it go.
Then the car's engien went and I found myself with a dead car I had to pay on still. I made pmnts for 3 months after the car died, and then called to tell them I could not afford it anymroe and wanted them to come and get the car and work out a pmnt for the balance. They told me that was not their problem. I stopped making pmnts on the car and they went into my boyfriends bank account with authorization and took funds out.
When we called to talk to someone about that problem, no one wanted to talk to me AGAIN. It was not their problem they said. They would not even give us the presidents name to this - company. (You fill inthe blank)
I called 3 more times after that and tolf them to come and get the car, they never did. It is still sitting in my driveway.in between all this, I will not get into total detail about how they harrassed me and work, home and all my contact numbers I have given them. I was almost at the verge of having anervous breakdown.
Well, come to find out, this DAMN company wrote my account off as a re-possesion How the hell is it repossed if I still have it. Tehy were not sympathetic to the point of how I had been taking for a fool by the car dealer. They sold me a 91 geo prizm with 68,000 miles on it and charged me $6,000.00 for the damn thing. I put a $1500.00 down pmnt ona car that I later learned was too much, period, in the first place.
I am currently putting in a dispute with the credit agency. I was told that they, SeaWest, are nto even comeafter me for the balance. Speaking of balance, after arguing my rights to this company I finally got a pay history and the amounts of my pmnts made and balances do not equal out.
I have lived a nightmare with this situation. My credit is already bad, but I just made arraingments with a credit counseling agency to straighten everything out and now I got this repossesion on my hands. How is all this legal. I could go on and on about what this company has doen to me, but, it would take forever.
I want revenge on these people and what they have done to me.
It is not right at all...
