Installed defective parts go out after warrenty Ripoff

I have a Ford F-150 that is just over 2 1/2 yrs old and the rotor mechanism for the back passanger side, that rolls the window up and down, crashed on me. It was no longer able to hold up the window. Ford said oh well it's over your warrenty even after advising them that a service rep at the near by dealer ship explained that they've been getting a few people in on the F-150 for the same part malfunction. He described it as a defective part, but FORD MOTOR COMPANY still did nothing to assist.

Now the driver side window just came down. I spoke with FORD again and again they said I would have to go out of my way (I live in the dessert) to the dealership at $3.29 a gallon and pay a $80 fee for the dealership to do an assesment which has already been done for the first incident. After which they will tell me if they will fix the defective part. This is the same response they gave me last time. I barely have money for gas. I live on an Air Force Base about 40 something miles to the dealership.
