On a nice and HOT day, in the middle of July, my 60 year old mother visited this business to get a car wash and an oil change. After they have completed the work my mother noticed a dent on the edge of her hood and as usual they vehemently
denied responsibility. My mother called me in an uproar over their accusation that she had caused the damage, I immediately left work to join her at the car wash.
Upon my arrival 25 min. Later I find my mother still outside on a 90 degree day in Texas in July. I examined the damage and was able to immediately determine that the damage was caused by the lever that is used to keep the hood in the upright position. I brought this to the attention of Barry Farris (VP of operations) letting him know that his technician opened the hood to do the oil change and most likely caused the damage. 15 min. Later he finally decided to go look at the video from the camera that they have in that area, WHY WASN"T THIS DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! It seems obvious to me that they were ATTEMPTING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A 60 YEAR OLD WOMAN ON A HOT SUMMERS DAY to make matters worse one of his flunkies offered us a free details in lieu of paying for the damage.
I signed the damage report, after which he added information that was not on there when I signed it, Barry F, initially tried to get me to sign it blank. Now that we have attained the 3 estimates BARRY is trying to dictate where we are to get the car repaired and how it is going to be paid for additionally, he is currently refusing to pay for a rental car that will be needed during the time that the vehicle is being repaired.
I would not recommed this business to anyone!!! If you want cheaper prices and better service, travel approximately 1.5 miles north on preston to the oasis car wash. Note: this is not the first and will not be the last complaint on this company!
