I knew what car I wanted to purchase. I called the dealership based on internet searches of their inventory. They has the car I wanted to purchase and I gave a complete credit report to them. I told the manager Jim John my complete credit history. I told them under the exact conditions which I would purchase the car with.
Jim John told me he had run the credit and that everything was approved and to come in sign the papers and drive away with the car. When I arrived to finalize the transaction, my credit had not been run and the finance manager did not know of anything.
I was told that the deal had not been approved and that I needed to place a much larger down and that the interest would be 23%. I talked to Jim John and he treated me like a child and gave a degrading speech saying that if I wanted to drive a new car we now knew what it would take to do it. He said that no one would be able to beat his deal. He lied to me and put me out 3 hours of my time with my wife and three children! Jim John is the stereotypical dishonest car salesman. He said anything to get me into the dealership and then tried to humiliate me into a horrible deal. I walked away, they same way I advise anyone in the middle Tennessee area to do.
This dealership is dishonest, rude and will screw anyone over for a fast cheap profit. Coolsprings mazda is a bad place to do business.By the way, I went to Nelson Mazda and got a deal at 11% interest and they told me the trurth and delivered on what they said they would do.
Stay away from cool spring mazda and related companies, they will take full advantage of you with no remorse!
