This company is the pits. I tried to purchase a 2004 Mazda Tribute. When it left the lot I was told everything was checked and there was nothing wrong. RIGHT! The first thing was they didn't give me a manual about the car... No biggie.
The second was no floor mats... Again no biggee but you start to wonder. The third was no air conditioning. That's right. They didn't have a fuse installed and I had to wait two days before I could get it installed. They wanted me to take off work, come to their dealership, drop off the car. I think not.
I asked for a loaner which supposed to be in contract. Sure they said, if I gave 150 on my credit card. SAYYY WHHHAT? So while this is going on, my financing does not go through. I'm not upset, because I think these people are crazy anyway. This obnoxious man (Jim Babbitt) calls me very nasty and says, give us our car or it will be repossed... No problem... Take your car.
I drive up and I want my trade-in. They can't it. It's blocked i. Oh my goodness says mr. Babbitt that's never happened before. Blah blah blah. So he says. Take the mazda and come back. I do and this time the trade-in has been damaged. OH MY GOODNESS says Mr Babbitt. I can see he's lying through his teeth. So he says take the mazda. I do. And then he calls me and says, don't know when we can repair it. It the mazda for the weekend. Now I don't want the mazda. I want my mazda, I want my trade-in.
Riding in their car was dangerous, so I send them a demand letter via courier stating I want either my trade-in or the value of my trade in in cash. 20 minutes later they call and say, take your trade-in. The repairs are shabby and the trade-in sucks. But at least I got it back.
NEVER, EVER DEAL with these hoodlums. Oh and I forgot, I had my old tags in the new car and I looked high and low for them. Couldn't find them. When I came to get my truck. SURPRISE! Here they are. I called the police and they came to the dealership and asked if I could file for trespassing. Of course I couldn't but I hope the cops scared the crap out of them..
