Fraud - forged documents - harrassment - lemon

I purchased a mercury cougar back in 2005 and within two days the check engine light came on because two of the three catalytic converters were bad. This car only has 55,000 miles on it and catalytic converters do not go out this soon unless some sort of catastrophic occurrence happened to the vehicle. Soon after that, the power steering pump, the altenator, fuel pump, needless to say this car requires $3500.00 in repairs just to get it running. I have been paying on this non-running car for two years and this all happened within two months of the purchase and drivetime feels no responsibility what so ever.

What gets me about this company is the unprofessionalism, the rudeness, their disregard for the law, etc..

The fact they call the next day if they have not received their payment. The fact they call all your references as well and tell them you are not making your payments. The fact they call your work and ask coworkers if they know what kind of person they hired?
They type in your name and send phony documnets to your employer in order to obtain personal information.

There claim is they sell cars "as is" well that is true but the government still governs warranties through the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. This law recognizes two basic kinds of warranties implied warranties and express warranties. Implied warranties are unspoken, unwritten promises, created by state law, that go from you, as a seller or merchant, to your customers. Implied warranties are based upon the common law principle of "fair value for money spent, " There are two types of implied warranties that occur in consumer product transactions. They are the implied warranty of merchantability and the implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

The implied warranty of merchantability is a merchant's basic promise that the goods sold will do what they are supposed to do and that there is nothing significantly wrong with them.in other words, it is an implied promise that the goods are fit to be sold.

Please check out:
It is still in its infancy but it is a start and I am not going to back off of this company.
