We hired Robert Buckley to rebuild motor in our 1994 Ford pick up and we paid cash for all parts and labor, and were told it was 100% guanteed. The motor was installed wrong, and is sitting too high, cut hoses in half the first day of driving, and is now putting pressure on the transmission from the motor being too high in front.
Motor has not run right since he put it in, would not pass smog, and called him, and he came over and retarded the timing which made it run worse, had to pay another 100 dollars to get it to pass smog, and now it won't hardly run at all. I have called several times, and he will not return my calls. Says that anything wrong with the engine is not his fault.
I took it to another shop and they tell me that there is no compression in cylinderds 5 and 6, and the #1 only has 125 and should be at least 135 on a new rebuilt engine.
The truck will not run, and I am left with a truck that has a rebuilt engine that won't run
