I purchased a 2007 mustang new from Dobbs Ford on Mt. Moriah. At 17k miles my car started going in to Limp home mode. Which is where the car runs on 3 cylinders. I took my car to Dobbs Ford and the first time they said nothing was wrong with it. I went back and a service manger. Told me that the reason my mustang was going into limp home mode was cause I put after market rims on my car and the rims do not have the tire pressure sensor in them and it would be $800 dollars to do the work. It didn't make sense to me that Ford would design a vehicle that if the tire pressure sensors weren't there to make the car run off 3 cylinders. I then took my car to Landers Ford and they discovered I had a bad throttle body and replaced it under warenty.
If any at Dobbs want to rebute this I still have the paper work from the visit.
Also I had to have some front end work done to my car because the alignment was eating up the inside of my tires. I put some 18x9 rims on the vehicle. Landers did the work for $300 less that what Dobbs Ford quoted me.
