Tim Marburger Dodge is a flat out SCAM! My husband and I went in the snow to get a new car. They ran out credit, said it was eligible, took my old car and put it into inventory. They gave us our new car and told us to come back on Monday to sign paperwork.
I asked several times if they were sure, that we didn't want to take the car if it wasn't truly ours. They said it would be no problem.
Monday comes and we go to sign paperwork and there IS a problem. They can't get a loan for us. Little did we know that we had been approved WITH CONDITIONS several times. We gave them back the new car and they pulled mine off the used car lot to give back to me. They said they woudl keep trying and call us the next day.
Tuesday, then Wed, passes I call and leave messages, no one calls back. Finally I called and said that if I didn't talkt o someone I would come down there and wait. I spoke to the Manager. He said no none would pick up the loan. I told him then TO STOP TRYING. NOT TO RUN ME OR MY HUSBANDS CREDIT ANYMORE.
He did not inform me that we HAD been approved for some amounts, needed higher down payment, etc.
HE DID NOT TELL ME THAT THEY HAD RUN MY CREDIT 17 TIMES
Yes, 17, they told me over the phone three. That's when I told them to stop. Then all these letters started to pour in.
You cannot dispute inquiries.
When you sign for them to run your credit you cannot specify how many times it can be run.
With 17 hits at 3-5 beacon points a pop, my husband and I's A credit was slashed.
I cannot buy anything on credit for three years until those inquiries are gone.
Tim Marburger Dodge, ruined my credit. They do it frequently, and don't care. Don't buy from them or their satellite dealerships. The only apology they offered was a free oil change! I'm out three years of being able to get anything on good credit and they give me a $20 oil change!!!
This is of course the short story, but BEWARE!
