I went in to have new brake pads put on and my brake rotors turned on my GMC Yukon XL. Just brakes said i needed the following work done: all four rotors needed to be replaced, the front calibers needed to be rebuilt, the parking brake pads were worn out completetly and needed to be replaced, and the brake hardware needed to be replaced and the brake system needed to be bled. To the tune of $1181.00.
Brief back ground, I do all my own brake jobs and have never had the number of problems that they claim my car had wrong. Hard to believe. I have also discovered that they double billed me for the front caliper pistons on my invoice. I also question, why they just didn't replace the whole caliper for much lower of a cost to me (After further investigation - at local auto part stores.). Oh, i know why, to take more money then needed from me. Labor, parts, etc. I will never go back here again.in fact, I'm going to dispute this charge with my credit card company.
