Internet Auto sales are a bunch of scammers. They have this "Sale" saying they have cars that are normally 16-20K for only 5K-13K, high trade in values, etc.
So I go to the sale to see if I can get into something cheaper and with less gas milage. So we find the car I want start doing the paper work. The guy gets back saying he can only get me in the car for around 480-500 I laughed at him and said I can only do 380. So he tries to wheel and deal to 450 and tells me that its only like 50 bucks more than what I am paying, I said no its not that would make it only 430 a month for 50 bucks more. So he said "well, see what we can do"
So he comes back with another guy telling me this is what he can do. No money down for low 400's. I kept asking for the exact number but he said we'll just have to see what we can do. Then he gives me some other options to have someone in the family try to take over my car payments, then I said NO... I am not going to put that burden on my family that's not fair to them. Then they suggested me sealing the car on my own, I said I don't have time for that. They tried to convince me that people out there would be happy to pay what I have for the kind of car I was driving so all I could think of was... Well if others would be glad to pay what I am paying why wouldn't I be? /
Next they said well, you could just have our car and then not make payments on your other car. And that the worse that would happen is that the bank would take my car back!!! So I was like... You are suggesting to have my car repo-ed!?? Yeah, not going to happen. Then the guy tried to make me sound like a bad person for burdening them with the trade in. I told him that's not fair to me to make me sound like the "bad person" in the deal. Then he tried to back track and say. No that's not what I mean. But I was like that's exactly what you said! They also tried to tell my I would go without paying for 2 months but wanted a check right away and then they would hold it for 30 days and cash it then my payments would start the next month. So... Obvisouly no 2 months without a payment.
Finally they gave me my keys back and the sales person said I can't believe you bought that car for what you did (our car we were going to trade in) I just blew him off and left.
