I rented a dirty cargo van from Tues.-Tues. Dropped it off at a different location. After it was inspected they said they found a small dent. It was dented from the inside, possibly from the contents of the van. Or it could have been there when I first rented it and I did not notice. Basically it was about the diameter of a Quarter and had to be looked at from the side to see it. I did take pictures with my phone and the ding does not even show in the photos. That's how minor it is. They filed an accident report and charged my credit card $500. That is my car insurance deductable. I did not buy their insurance. They said once the dent is repaired they would just charge me what it actually cost and credit the rest back. They gave me a # to call. 908-497-1957. I called that # and was given another #. 201-342-5500 ext. 209 then another ext. 259. I finally talked to Robert after several attempts and explained the situation. He seemed nice and said he would get back to me. He never did. I kept calling, only to leave messages. So tonight I called my card and disputed the $500 charge. I used to do body work. That ding could be fixed in 5 minutes with a dolly, hammer and rag and without paint work!
