Attention all potential Toyota Used Car Buyers: BEWARE! Before you consider purchasing any Used Toyota you must 'Google' the two words - ENGINE SLUDGE. Read all of the reports from innocent people who Toyota Corporation has left out in the dark!
As a former Top Rep at a Toyota Dealership, I never heard of this problem until Charlene (who has posted the most brilliant information to date about this problem) made me aware of it. She is MOVING FORWARD but unlike Toyota, she is MOVING FORWARD WITH THE TRUTH!
You must read her Posts and become educated about this Sludge Problem and steer away from any Used Toyota. My recommendation is to purchase a Used Honda instead. Honda is the Leader in the world when it comes to ENGINES. They manufacture more engines than any other company in the world and as a former Top Honda Rep I can tell you that Honda Owners are happy owners. (at least when it comes to their engines.)
Corporate America is scamming the innocent consumer every day! We must stand up and SPEAK OUT! Bombard your Local News Stations about any type of deception, especially at Toyota Dealerships! Send letters, E-Mails, photos, etc. It might get you on T.V. Too!
Go to www.9news.com and type in the name ORNELAS and search the story from 2005 and read the article that made the Front Page of the Denver Post on 5-19. Also watch the Video that made the 10 o'clock News on 5-18! A simple LETTER is all it took!"Write a letter, you'll feel better!'
And do not stop with one letter! Keep writing and mailing them every day. I'll also give you a hint: if you HAND WRITE the letters and put them in an envelope and mail them, they will stand out. Why? Because most people E-Mail letters. Very few people HAND WRITE letters any more. So, when the News Station gets a hand written letter it will stand out and get more attention!
Go nuts! Keep writing. Things will start coming out and in the process of 'letting go', you might just 'find yourself'! Let go of your EGO and start doing things that will help others. There is something called KARMA. It will all come back and you'll realize what it's all about.
