Deceptive scam would only replace transmission with one from a junkyard very poor customer service

My transmission went out on my 2000 chevy blazer. The 2 ASE mechanics that looked at it said the internal pump failed and the autosave report even reported a crack in the pump however they were very reluctant to pay anything on it saying i had abused it. I had all the servive records for it.

They did agree to buy a transmission off the internet from the cheapest junkyard a generous offer they said considering my transmission burned up and they state they don't cover over heated parts, after i threatend them with the attorney general. Mind you it does state that damage done to a transmission or engine due to a failure of a coverd part is supposed to be coverd.

The pump is a coverd part but as far as they were concerned, no matter what my mechanics said the pump did not fail first so they were not responsible. The person i spoke with is named rick and he treated me like a pain in his rear. He insulted my intelligence and talked to me as if i were trying to get something i was not entitled to and trying to scam them. His superviser was no better.

The plain simple and seemingly straight forward wording in the warranty i found in my experience with them leaves a lot to interpretation. Like equivalent replacement parts they will not get yours repaired if they can get you a junkyard replacement cheaper and junkyards can be pretty cheap. The junkyard ones are untested, unremanufactured and have as many or as few miles as the junkyard wishes to state and autosave has no problem putting it in your car telling you you have a 30 day warranty on that part (which is coverd by the junkyard by law not autosave) and even with the 30 day warranty, if they paid 1300 on it and it blows in less than 30 days you only have like 700 dollars coverage left from autosave to change it out a second time, even if they are the ones that bought it and shipped it to your mechanic to put in your car. Thats if they don't say you abused it or that your ASE mechanic put it in wrong.

My advise is stay away from this company they have a very shady business ethic, after a few rounds with them and a trip to the attorney general they sent me a check for the amount they agreed to spend on a transmission from a junkyard and to put it in, which would not have coverd the whole deal even with them providing the transmission after you include teardown, towing, and labor to put the new one in.
