In my opinion in Scottsdale, AZ "RIP OFF" is spelled g i n o v e r d o n e. This feedback page is to relate to you my dealings with Team Verdone Auto Sales now dba WE-BAY MOTORS. Hopefully before you place a bid on e-bay. So you can then make an informed decision if you want to bid on a vehicle from Team Verdone's UP4AUCTION or WILDWESTAUCTION1 or now WE-BAY MOTORS, gino verdone.
My opinion on Team Verdone's Team Verdone, up4auction, and now dba / WE-BAY MOTORS:
Any dealer or honest person who is telling me how great they or their dealership is instead of the honest vehicle's condition, doesn't warrant our business.
(Disclamer:) My intent is not to slander mr gino verdone'a reputation; it is to help folks like you make an informed choice.
I bought a 1987 Dodge 4X4 from gino verdone when he was dba / team verdone. It was described as:
"Check this Beauty out, a 1987 Dodge 1 Ton 4 wheel drive with a Beautiful condition utility box and you get all this for a $1.00, that' right Team Verdone is at it again, closing out the month with a bang. Check this truck out V8 4 x 4,5 SPEED, AIR CONDITIONING, POWER STEERING, POWER BRAKES, STEREO, plus like new tires and a Knapheide $2,500.00 utility box. So if you are in the need of a truck like this or if you just want the box then bid and put this truck to work, add it to your fleet it will pay for itself, the more guys working the more you make. I am trying to help you here this truck is the best deal I can offer and at a $1.00 reserve no one else has that not the trader or anywhere. The body on this truck is excellent, ENGINE, TRANSMISSION ALL EXCELLENT. I did my job now you do yours and bid. I bought this truck locally and the owner even gave me extra keys for the boxes and truck, he kept it in LIKE NEW CONDITION VERY WELL MAINTAINED and let's not forget here ladies and gentlemen this is a 4 wheel drive. You do the math! The truck alone is worth $4,500.00 the bed used is worth $1,500.00 that's $6,000.00 and my reserve is $1.00, one buck and after that you bid what you want to pay. Cost to repair to a useable condition geno verdone 'like new condition very well maintained, engine transmission all excellent' truck: $3,137.23 (parts) $1,325.00 labor.
Mr gino verdone's response at the time was:
"I'm the owner of team verdone Gino Verdone I am asking you first to REMOVE the negative feedback on my site. First it is against e-bay rules to do the format in which you are doing it. It leaves no way for us to give our side, this is damaging to our business. If not removed or cleaned up I will file my complaint and I do not mean thru normal channels at e-bay. We put our life, money into e-bay. Had I have known of a problem with the truck I would have fixed it. I'm sorry you had problems but these older cars and trucks are unpredictable as you well know I feel your response is damaging and unfair, surely I think after you visited our family store you could see we want you to be Happy with your purchase. Again I am (asking) you to remove this feedback. We did leave you Positive which by the way I can also have changed to Negative. Being a #1 seller does open a few doors if you know what I mean. You have a choice remove it or redo it under e-bay rules. Thank You again I am very so!
