Over the past few years, I have purchased a few passenger side sun visors. The visor doesn't even get touched, however when driving down the road, for no reason what-so-ever it just drops from the window to the floor. They replaced it once at no charge, but after the second and third time it happened they didn't want to deal with it. They said it wasn't faulty and they wouldn't honor any warranty, nor could they find any information in the computer from the last few times I purchased this item.
Obviously the item is faulty if it just breaks several times and not even from being used. I spoke with the service manager and he said that I was screwed since there was no information in the computer. And the only option I had was to fork out yet another 100 bux to get another one. Why would I want to spend another 100 bux on a sun visor if the damn things are faulty to begin with and to have it only break again in the future without them honoring their warranty or loosing paperwork. The parts manager was laughing at me saying that the item was not faulty because GM did not have a recall on the item. Obviously there is a faulty item if the damn things break for no reason what-so-ever.
