In almost 40 years of car buying this was the worst experience ever. I would call it a financing "bait & switch". Purchased the vehicle on Saturday, picked it up on Tuesday and then got a call Thursday saying the financing package did not go through even though on Saturday when I was signing papers I was told "This is the deal we have for you".
My only option was to accept a higher rate and higher payment. I took the vehicle back to them and was dealing with the finance manager at that time. When I went to pick up the vehicle I had traded in the sunvisor was gone.
When I complained to the finance guy he implied that I was lying. Finally, he told me he would order one the next day to replace it. I then kept calling him to see if it was in and he would tell me "I'll check on it and call you right back". He never called back. It took over a week of this for me to realize he had no intention of taking care of this!
At that point I called the manager of the dealership and told him the story. Within a hour I got a call from the same fianace person tell me the part was ordered (finally). I also got a call fronm the parts dept. Confirming the order.
All in all I feel I was jerked around, lied to and treated with the utmost disrespect.
