We contracted to have our transmission completed by the company, who stated they would pick up our transmission and have it shipped to their address for repair and have it sent back to us. Our car was to be stored at a local auto repair shop, who 24 hour transmission/Coast to Coast subcontracted out to do the labor. The quoted price was 1500 dollars and we were told it would be completed within 4 days. After 8 days, the company did not pick up the transmission and the auto repair shop called us to say that the transmission had not been picked up. We called Coast to Coast to pick it up, which they eventually did a few days later. A few days later there was a 500 dollar charge on our credit card, which we were not told about. After fighting with the company and threatening legal action, they eventually reimbursed us the money. Since that time, they have lost our transmission after it was shipped out. I have been in contact with the company to get the issue resolved, but they refuse to answer the phone when I call. I finally was able to get in contact with the company today and I told them that I wanted to cancel my order. I was informed that there would be an additional 900 dollar charge if I canceled. It has now been over 4 weeks and we do not have a transmission. We are going to pursue legal options to get our money back as this company is completely incompetent and downright fraudulent. Under no circumstances should anyone ever do business with these people, unless you want poor service and to lose a lot of money.
