I purchased a car in July and Drive Financial Services Financed the purchase of the car. During the past 5 years, I have numerous of problems with them. Every month a representative would call stating that their records showed that my car insurance lapsed which was not true and every month I would call the insurance company and they would tell me that they had just faxed the information stating that I have full coverage.
In for some reason they change my account number and no one can tell why. I have been trying to get another car since 2004 and I couldn't because everyone said their was to much negative equity in the car and that's because drive has my payoff amount $2,500.00 higher that what it should be and that's how much I put down on the car.
In January their auditors sent me a letter asking me if I agreed with the payoff amount and I stated NO! Obviously, the auditors saw something wrong otherwise they wouldn't have sent me a letter and I can't get anyone at Drive or anywhere else to help with this situation.
Also, one of the car dealers that I went in July told me that on my credit report it showed that I had only been making payments once every quarter. I told them if that was true I would not still have the car.
My car is supposed to be paid off in August and they still have my pay-off amount as $5,000.00 which doesn't make common sense that I would owe that much money on a car that is going to be paid off in 3 months.
I really don't know what to do except their needs to be a class action lawsuit filed against this company and if someone gets one started I would like to be in on it!!
