Ripoff and wronfull repo of auto due to company insurance

I am writing this for my Fiance actually. We get home Friday 6/15. There was a big truck parked in our apartment parking lot. It was parked directly behind my Fiance's Pontiac (I drove my car when we went out). They was also behind 3 other cars. I assumed they parked that way while waiting for someone to come out.

10 minutes later we hear a knock on our apartment door. It's one of the guys from the truck. He tells us he is there on order to Repo her car for Wells Fargo.

She starts freaking out making calls. She makes all payments on time and so on.

Finally get a hold of someone, They tell her that her payments are $398 a month and that she is $1600 behind in payments so they repo'd her car.

Her contract states her payments are to be $275 a month which is what she pays. She send them a check at the begining of every month. And this part is her fault. She never gets bills. But neither do I. My car loan is through Americredit where it's all set up via the computer. So I don't get a bill, I log online at work to look at my account and save $1.50 a month.

So she just assumed it was the same way with her. We didn't have a computer till recently since my laptop got pop spilled on it. And I was still able to get online at work but she wasn't but she never gave it a second thought. Her own fault. Or she would have seen sooner.

Anyways. She was not aware they had added this "Company insurance" crap to her car without even telling her about it. No phone calls or mailers or nothing. Well, She has full coverage insurance and has had it from day one of getting the car.

They repo the car and tell her she has 10 days and the car is shipped to auction in California and she must pay all freight chargers. She calles Michelle at Wells Fargo who tells her she will not say a single word to her untill she first faxes in 4 refernces, 2 pay stubs, proof of insurance (JUST TO SPEAK TO HER). Problem is. Proof of insurance and her most recent pay stubs are in her car. They told her she is not allowed to get any personal items from the car at all.

Her job said it will be between 4-6 weeks before copy's of her paystubs are sent to her. She has less then 10 days and the car is gone to back up that they had no right to charge her this extra money. PLUS they never even called or gave notice of the repo..

Come to find out. On the contract the address is correct but the address wells fargo inputed in there system is compeltly wrong and wrong apartment number. Yes I know "It's the customers reposnability". But that is why we never recieved mailers regarding the issue or her bills. Which we assumed they did what Americredit does for me and doesn't send paper bills out but it's all down online digitaly.

SO short end of it. They are charging her this extra insurance on a car that is already insured. Wells Fargo was informed of this. They refuse to remove any charges or give the car back or even work with us in the slightest bit.
