Told us they were buying a car from us, asked us to send $ to a shipper, once we did the checks were returned no good

They contacted us via e-mail stateing they were interested in a car we listed on craigslist. Once they sent us the check for the car they stated they needed us to send money to there shipper. This went on for a couple of days and two checks, once the funds had been sent to their shipper, the checks came back as bad checks... They ripped us off...
