The advertised in "Car Trader" Dodge Rum 3500 Car ID: AT-D0C8741, VIN 1B7MF3360YJ135972 for $13,995 either does not exist, or is actually priced at $21000 and more!
Before I committed myself to the over 7 hours (both ways) trip, to the out of state MY Car Inc dealership, I called twice (Mike C a sales manager?) to confirm that this particular truck is available! He assured me that it is, and they will be waiting for me.
When I got there, he offered me a 2001 Dodge (possibly the very one advertised in picture) for $21000, as a "good deal". When confronted about the huge price discrepancy, he just sad: "I made mistake, I thought of the other vehicle"... And he pointed at '97 Dodge flat bad. [probably also worth only a fraction of his expected, imaginary figure]
This trip cost me in excess of $120 just the gas expenses, and a lot of valuable time.
People like him, or whole dealership for that matter, ought to have license revoked and most definitively held accountable for sleazy, deceptive tactics. They tarnish reputation of other dealers out there, that have some integrity and the proverbial.."balls"..
