Bad experience Rude manager, Mike Haller at Monro Brake and muffle

On 5/28/07. I took my car in for an oil changed at Monro Muffler Brake at 8811 Brier Creek Parkway, Raleigh, NC 27617.919-806-3493 this is the 3rd times that I took the car in for oil change. But this time I was charged with a $29 oil changed bill. Previously, I paid $21.

What the manager Mike Haller told me was that since the filter is not in stock. They have to get it somewhere else and I have to pay for it. Even though he made no mention of it when I took the car in, he told me that Its not his problem that the inventory is not correct, he forcefully points out that its a waste of time to check the inventory, it slows his crew down, it still took 1.5 hours for my oil change.

He got the nerve and demanded that I paid the bill or else hell just put my old oil filter and the old oil back in. I had to argue with him until another customer came in. His tone sure changed fast. I was amaze that he try to slam me with additional extra charges too. $2.25 recycle fee, $3 for extra qt oil, $2.16 shop fee $3.00 for oil filter. I could have got the oil change done at the dealership for $30 out the door. I think more people need to hear about this in the Raleigh NC area. I love Monro before but with this Mike Haller character. I would have to think twice to take my car there again.
