Brent McMahon;

Let me start with a quote from your website;
Dedicated to the concept that our customers come first.
"Walkthrough Technician" who is an experienced expert on all the products we sell. Put our "Diamond Quality" service department to the test. McMahon's RV is where "Customers Count"

Now with all that said, I am having a serious issue that needs an immediate resolution. We purchased a 2007 FW Hurricane 31H. From the day we left, December 21st from our Christmas holiday in our new coach, we have had 2 issues that have not been resolved after 4 visits to your service department.

1st visit: I called in the morning and told service, I wanted to bring my RV in to be looked at, that I have an air leak in the seal around the front windshield (according the Ford Dealer) This supposed leak is causing a high pitch whistle sound. I drove up, only to be told, I have to come back, your service department needs to get authorization to reseal my window I told them, well, we have a couple other issues, Ray asked if I could bring those up when I brought the coach back.

2nd visit: drove up after I called telling the service department I had a control number I needed to reference and wanted to bring my coach in, they said come on down. It had been raining, but somewhat stopped. Your service department could not reseal the window, due to the rain and needed an advance notice to contact the window people. I had an oil change, so I did not waste a trip. Whistle sound still around for another visit.

3rd visit: I drove up to have my windshield resealed. The glass people did a nice job, but guess what, the reseal did not fix the whistle / air leak sound. Service Department told Joe, "I am not sure what we can do!"

4th visit: Leak in the water system, which dripped down the wall, soaked the carpet, and filled the water tank! Yes, filled the water tank. We are on city water, pressure regulator and water filter system. The flow into the coach is being redirected (slowly) into the fresh water holding tank, which resulted in the tank filling all the way up and out the fill spout, which overflowed outside, and some back inside, down the wall and soaked the carpet. When I brought it in I was told they ran some tests, no problem found. We get home, drain the water tank completely, hook up to the city water system, and guess what? The fresh water tank is slowly filling up! Also on the visit, I showed Ray an email I received from Four Winds:

Joe; Customer Service Advisor Four Winds International
Hi Mike, We have heard of this particular noise on several other occasions. We believe the sound is coming either from the front grill. Around the opening there are little triangles created in the black squares of the grill.By filling these small triangles around the frill opening with black silicone we have heard the noise has gone away. The other possibility could be an opening in the firewall around the base of the steering column. This should be sealed shut if it exists. This is an issue that should be addressed by McMahon's and not the Ford dealer.

I want this issue (the whistle sound) and the water leak issue repaired once and for all. This is a 2007 coach; I bought an additional 4 year warranty. Why do I keep getting the run around?

Mike Justus:

I received a call from GEMB, stating they did not receive the payoff from the 2004 Chateau Sport; we traded in on the 2007 Hurricane.

Can you please tell me what the hold is up? We traded the Chateau Sport in on 12/21, which was 1 day before our December payment was due.
On January 5th, GEMB called asking for my December payment. I informed them our coach was traded in and we signed a release of liability and transferred the coach to McMahon RV.

Also, I would appreciate, if you would schedule a service appointment for Saturday. We had several issues with the coach, while on our vacation.
First and foremost, the seals around the window are leaking and causing an ungodly whistle sound when the RV reaches 45 to 70 miles per hour.

Secondly, we had a huge blister on the side of the front passenger tire. When we tried to have it repaired under warranty, we could not find one tire shop in Texas stocking that brand or size. Further, we found that the front passenger tire was different from the other tires on the RV. We ended up spending 300.00 to have the tire replaced.

Thirdly, the bedroom rug became increasingly wet. We called the service department (who could not offer much help, without seeing the vehicle) we started investigating to find a loose water fitting, underneath the Cabinet where the TV would be.

Fourth in the list, the sub flooring, from the refrigerator to the restroom is "sinking" there seems to be a huge warp in the floor of the coach.

Fifth on the list; what is with the huge scratches on the front windshield? Both windows look like someone tried cutting the glass!
I am confused, is this a new 2007 or a used 2007? Anyway, there is 3 year 45,000 mile structural warranty and we purchased an extended 7 year warranty.

Lastly, the floor of the shower is not seated correctly. The floor of the shower has a "spongy feel" which will ultimately lead to the floor in the shower cracking and leaking.

We need a full day of service!
